a. Format the problem of interest as a PICO (T) question.
b. Search for research articles that answer your PICO (T) question. Articles must be data-based research reports and gleaned from scholarly nursing journals (at least 4). Medical and allied health journals are also acceptable but the research must be predominantly from nursing journals. At least one of the research articles must have a qualitative methodology. Articles should be no more than 10 years old.
c. Select and critically read each research article and place pertinent information in the evidence table template (provided in Blackboard). Complete a Johns Hopkins critique form for EACH research article.
d. Synthesize and critically analyze the body of research literature.
e. Write the Review of the Literature paper. The paper should integrate all articles used. A review of the literature will be written for all articles used. It should be between 12-15 pages in length (excluding references and any appendices) and reflect a synthesis of the review of literature on the topic/research question chosen. FOLLOW STEPS AND RUBRIC. Paper should be original writing (direct quotes and sources MUST be cited) and be in correct APA format. All articles, with Johns Hopkins forms attached.
