There is two parts to this assignment: a riddle, written using stylistic elements that you have seen in the Old English riddles we’ve read, and a commentary of about 2 pages on the riddle that you create . The grade will be weighted toward the commentary.

The riddle need not to be more than a few lines long and can be written in prose or verse. Please do not provide a solution with the riddle itself.

The commentary part of the essay needs to be double-spaced
