What are the things that affect or create the Earth’s weather and climate?

World Geography Unit 2 Project Earth’s Physical Geography Each student is required to create a PowerPoint presentation for the class that answers five important questions from Unit 2. Procedures: • Read the following questions carefully: 1. When the Earth moves through outer space, how do these movements create daytime, nighttime, and the four seasons (winter, spring, summer, and fall)? 2. What are the forces that shape the Earth? 3. What are the things that affect or create the Earth’s weather and climate? 4. Why do certain climates on Earth create so many different types of vegetation or plant life? 5. What causes a volcano, a tornado, a typhoon, a hurricane, and an earthquake? • Research in your geography textbook, the library, and the Internet for information that helps answer the above questions. • Organize your research and the facts you will use before you begin creating the PowerPoint presentation. • Based on your research create a great PowerPoint presentation for the class. Requirements: • 3 slides for each question. • 5 bullets of facts for each slide. • 1 picture for each question. • The use of backgrounds, color, different fonts, sounds, slide transitions, animation, etc. Make your PowerPoint the best ever. • EVERYTHING MUST BE IN YOUR OWN WORDS. I will help you do this, if you do not know how. • Present your show to the class.
